About the Artist
Color is my way of communicating my vision of nature... |

"I believe that art found me
and I am so lucky to be able to
do what I love"
Shelly
As a form of communication, color is irreplacable. The concept of color may be approached from several disciplines; perhaps the most versatile of which being art.
My work is a collection of color and movement, as well as an expression of emotion and value. My intent, as an artist, is to evoke some sort of emotive response from the viewer. The detail of my subject matter is of less importance to me than it's cast and movement. To capture the curvature of a calalilly is to enlighten the viewer to my own vision of a simple flower.
Ranging from landscapes to florals to linear abstracts, my work's serene quality is largely influenced by that of Wolf Kahn and Georgia O'Keefe. My own personal style has evolved into a more representational one. My work is a simple communication of nature's often complicated substance and vibrance. I hope that you enjoy my work.
